Ladle Director Bio

Pascal Dickinson

Pascal Dickinson is the new Director of Ladle Fellowship. Pascal has been in service to his church since 2010, hosting the Bible study that developed into the Resurrection Presbyterian Church of San Diego (PCA) which started providing regular Sunday services in January of 2016 (renting space from the First Presbyterian Church). He began serving at the Ladle Fellowship immediately and gravitated toward Street Corner Care because of his studies in Biology in which he acquired an ABS (Allied Health Certificate). Pascal was ordained by the PCA and installed as a deacon when Resurrection SD particularized in 2018. Pascal helped develop the haircut program for our Ladle guests by ordering all supplies needed due to his knowledge of cosmetology and having been a licensed cosmetologist from 2008–2017.
At Resurrection SD, he is chair of the board of deacons and supports the worship ministry with percussion. He lead a community group for Resurrection SD for over 2 years, until the youngest Dickinson baby required a bit more from her parents. Allie Dickinson, Pascal’s wife, currently is one of two worship leaders at Resurrection SD and has been in that role since 2019. Pascal and Allie have 3 children, 2 of which serve regularly at church in A/V, “kingdom kids”, and sometimes even the Ladle. They have been chomping at the bit to join Pascal at work, but they have been asked to be patient as Pascal attempts to wrap his mind around all that we do in this 41 year old ministry to the poor and homeless in downtown San Diego. I’m sure the Dickinson children will be a fixture there soon!
